WIND POWER IN NEVADA

Crumley wind project

in development

AES’ Crumley wind project is a planned wind generation facility in Nye County, Nevada. The project will help diversify the state’s energy resources while delivering affordable and reliable energy to meet Nevada's rapidly growing electricity demand.

A series of wind turbines with large blades stand in an open landscape under a partly cloudy sky. The turbines are aligned in a row, stretching into the distance, with hills visible on the horizon.

Our clean energy commitment

AES’ Crumley project is a planned facility in Nevada. We are committed to responsible clean energy development that creates long-term value and positive impact for both the environment and local communities.

Economic and environmental benefits

We believe in being a good neighbor, ensuring responsible clean energy development that benefits both the environment and local communities without burdening existing infrastructure.

Project details

  • AES will be the long-term owner and operator of the facility
  • At the end of the project's life, a decommissioning plan enables the land to return to agricultural use or other uses consistent with landowner preferences
